The KPMG Women’s Irish Open, supported by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, takes place
between 29th August and st September at Carton House, a Fairmont Managed Hotel, in
Maynooth, promising excitement and fun for all who attend.
The KPMG Women’s Irish Open will be played on the O’Meara Course at Carton House, a
Fairmont Managed Hotel, which was designed by 1998 Open Champion and US Master
Champion, Mark O’Meara. World-class golf will be on display, and guests will see LPGA Tour
winner and Olympian Leona Maguire, who recently became the first Irish winner on the
Ladies European Tour tee it up alongside her Solheim Cup team-mate and Major winner
Georgia Hall.
Five time LET winner, Anne Van Dam will also be competing for the title after a
runner-up finish at last year’s event, as will upcoming Irish golf star and Carton House’s
touring professional, Lauren Walsh.

The Spectator Village will be packed with delicious food and drink offerings including
Offbeat Donuts, Griolladh, Nespresso and a special BBQ offering from Carton House
Fairmont, created by their Executive Chef Gary Rogers. There will also be live music daily,
fun family activities such as face painting, picnic tables, sweet treats and a kids zone. The
Spectator Village will also feature interactive activities such as long-putt, golf chipping
challenges and VR golf with the chance to win prizes all week. The on Wednesday
28th August will include celebrity appearances and is free to attend.
