The first count in Meath East in this evening has just being called at 8.00 pm. Helen McEntee is 40 shy of being elected. Though it may take a number of eliminations to get across the line with Darren O’Rourke and Thomas Byrne expected to get elected this evening or tomorrow. After that it looks like Gillian Toole may fill the final seat but she will be depending on how the transfers pan out. it is still too close to call with Tolan, O’Reilly and Toibin all on the early three thousands.
