A 49-year-old Lithuanian man living in Navan who appeared at Trim District Court charged with drug offences has been sent for trial. Audrius Teresa, with an address at TARA Court Square, Navan was charged with alleged possession of drugs for sale or supply on a date last year. He was also charged with possession of €15,050 in cash believed to be the proceeds of crime. A Garda gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on accused and Judge Eirinn McKiernan sent the accused forward for trial at Trim Circuit Court later this month.

ALLEGED ROBBERY MAN(38) CHARGED

A 38 year old man with a Navan address who appeared at Trim District Court charged with alleged robbery has been sent for trial.Stephen Coleman of Watergate St Navan was charged with robbery of e800 cash from Farrelly Day break in the town on 16th November last year. He was also charged with production of a knife and theft of wine worth e25 on the same occasion.Judge Eirinn McKiernan sent the accused for trial after hearing that a book of evidence had been served on him.
