As our esteemed politicians travel the globe to celebrate St Patrick’s Day and renew and build connections with our Irish diaspora and showcase Ireland as a holiday destination and a place where our international companies can do business with us. There will be plenty of opportunity to meet and greet with the great and the good. All good and no doubt much good will come of their travels in the name of Ireland.
However, you maybe surprised to find out if you need a standard blood test this side of St Patrick’s Day in Navan Hospital you will have to wait to…. hold it…. to 16th April 2025 at 13.40, yes that’s right in 23 days time.
Meath Live received a message from one of our readers pointing out the long waiting time on the system. Thinking it was wrong we checked it out for ourselves. When we went to book an adult blood test on the swiftqueue website, wait for it… we were offered a date 16th April 2025 at 13.50. Ten minutes later than the previous booking. A bit of food for thought in this day and age of instant needs to be satisfied and they call that progress.
The next available date is 16th April.
