Navan RFC was proud to host an Inclusive Tag Rugby Blitz on Sunday, 13th April, in partnership with Energia Energy, Irish Rugby, and Leinster Rugby. The event welcomed over twenty mixed ability teams from across Leinster for a fantastic afternoon of rugby, fun, and community spirit. The pitches at Balreask Old were alive with energy as players of all abilities showcased their skills in a festival of inclusive rugby. Families and supporters lined the sidelines, cheering on a wonderful celebration of teamwork, diversity, and enjoyment of the game.

To support the needs of all participants, dedicated facilities were available on the day, including a Sensory Bus and Quiet Zone, helping ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone involved. A BBQ and Ice Cream stand added to the festival atmosphere, keeping players and supporters refreshed throughout the day.

Navan RFC extends a heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers whose enthusiasm, time, and commitment made the day such a resounding success. It was an incredible day for inclusive rugby and a proud moment for everyone involved in building a more accessible game for all.
