Three Vietnamese nationals charged in respect of drugs with an estimated value of over €500,00, were remanded back in custody for directions to be obtained in the case from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The state asked for the charges against the three accused to be adjourned to May 15 next. Judge Stephanie Coggans granted the request at Trim District Court on Tuesday.

The three men face charges for possession of cannabis, and possession of the drug for sale or supply, along with cultivation of cannabis plants. The offences are alleged to have occurred on April 7th last at a premises in Oldcastle, Meath.
