Along with his co-founder Chris Fakhimi they won an award at a University Of Notre Dame sponsored  event. It was for developing an app called Pi-Squared. The app helps students and people at large who thrive in short bursts of focus, unlocking their math potential with targeted, engaging exercises. It is similar to the well know Wordle app. but for the more  mathematically minded individuals.

In the run up to winning the award David Carr, a former student at Ashbourne Community College posted called on support from his Facebook page to help make the difference. The message read in the run up to the competitor. They qualified for the semis and then picked up the winning award. The University Notre Dam is based in Indiana with strong Irish and Catholic connections. It’s nick name Fighting Irish and their mascot a Leprechaun show the strong Irish affiliation.
