A snapshot of the availability of car parking spaces in three towns across Co Meath – Navan, Trim and Kells – has been given by Meath County Council. The data was released to Aontu Cllr Emer Toibin who asked how many public car park spaces had been removed from each of the six municipal districts in the county over the last five years, including the number of spaces expected to be removed this year and how many disabled spaces had been added across each MD in the same timeframe.

Officials told the councillor that the council only retained information on parking spaces in pay and display streets and car parks in Navan, Trim and Kells.
