A 41-year-old man who appeared at Trim District Court charged with alleged robbery and assault has been sent for trial. Bartosz Golonka, with an address at Cluain Ri, Ashbourne was charged with alleged robbery at Day to Day, Frederick Street, Ashbourne on 16th February last. He was also charged with alleged assault causing harm at Ashbourne Garda Station on the same date.
Garda Leavy gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who was then sent forward for trial to the present sitting of Trim Circuit Court. He was granted free legal aid in the form of a solicitor Maurice Regan and one barrister. Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the accused on bail to the date of his trial.
