Meath West Says Yes by 64% To Catherine Connolly The 10th President of Eire

The outcome was never really in doubt, the only question was would it go to a second count and that was dispelled early on too when  the tally’s came in. The final result is 

Electorate      64,923

Valid Pol         24,176

Connolly       15,477  (64%)

Gavin             1,684    (6.9%)

Humphreys  7,015    (29%)

Spoilt             4,560    (16%)
