Meath River Rescue received a call from Trim Gardai at 9:56am on Thursday 27th November’25, informing them that a person has entered the River Boyne in the Trim locality. Their Swift water rescue team and our emergency first responder Jeep and jet boat travelled from another search currently in Navan area. On launch the boat and made it’s way down Boyne river to the scene. On arrival Trim Fire and Rescue Service had recovered the person and handed the body over. Paramedics from the HSE, Trim Gardai and Navan Fire and Rescue Service were all on the scene. A short time later the body was handed over to the undertaker. Our members returned to Navan to continue the search for the two missing person’s. Meath River Rescue said , ” Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. May He Rest In Peace.”
