Tracing Echoes is the name of an exhibition by artist Mark Francis at the Solstice Art Centre from 17th January to 24th March. Mark Francis is an acclaimed Irish artist known for his dynamic and visually arresting paintings. His works are charged with movement, sound and rhythm. His practice combines intense sequences of colour within tightly gridded structures, generating a compelling tension between order and chaos. There is an agitation in his work – a pulse, vibration – as if forms and colours are trying to break free, bleed into one another or shift beyond their boundaries. Exhibition runs Tuesdays-Saturdays 11am-4pm.
