Uisce Éireann is advising customers in Dunshaughlin that due to a power issue at the local water treatment plant they may experience reduced pressure until the necessary repairs are carried out. Uisce Éireann’s Operations team are working to make the repairs and normal supply should be restored by this evening.

An Uisce Éireann tanker has ensured all HSE buildings and care homes in the area have water in their tanks while we work to restore supply and increase pressure in the network back to normal levels. Uisce Éireann’s Enda Cully assured customers that every effort is being made to restore a normal water supply water as quickly as possible.

“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers impacted for their support while our repair works are ongoing. Our Operations crews are working to reduce the impact; however some customers may experience reduced pressure until the repair work is completed this evening,” said Enda.
