NAVAN  FIRST TALLIES see Fennessy take the top of the number one’s

Emer Tóibín comes a close second with independent Francis Deane holding up.

Tommy Reilly is sitting sixth at the moment and it will all depend on transfers

over the coming days to see how they will unfold. Two new names on the ballots

have done well, Linda Murray-Nelson and the young Ali Kashif have struck a chord

with the electorate. Again these are tallies and the middle order candidates will have

to stay in the game with transfers in what will be a hotly contested fight to

grab the last available seats.
