The Donegal man topped the poll and thanked the people of Meath

for getting up in the morning to give him there No1.

He promised to continue his formula for success, public meetings,

keeping the people informed regardless of whoever they are.

‘Humbled’ was the term he used to thank the electorate who

gave him the vote for another term since he was first elected 

in 2004. He increased his vote by nearly 500 and the message was 

Independents can get things done. The quota is 1532 and he was 

1134 over the quota
