The Meath Branch of the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign are meeting on the Hill of Tara. This evening, Friday 21st June from 6:30pm,

We will have a brief history of this historical site, including how W.B. Yeats, Douglas Hyde, Arthur Griffith, George Moore and Maud Gonne protested and successfully stopped Zionist excavation at the Hill of Tara.

We will have music from our members.
We will also have the pleasure of the Palestinian poet, Baha reading his aptly named poem ‘On the Hill of Tara’.

It is all shaping up to be a lovely evening of reflection, connection and solidarity with the people of Palestine.
