The death has occurred of John ‘Jack’ Fagan, Boyne Hill, Kilcarn, Navan, Meath. Formerly Killallon, Co. Meath and Malahide, Co. Dublin. Jack was a chartered accountant with Oliver Freaney & Co in Dublin and Navan.  He was a founding member of Fagan, Lynch, Donnellan Accountants and member of the 1966 Meath Football Team. He was also well known in farming and businesses communities throughout the county. He passed away, Tuesday, 10th June ’25, peacefully at Woodlands Nursing Home, Navan surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Jean Fagan (Nee Small), parents Gerald and Mary Ann (Ciss) and brother Terence.

John will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Lily, son John, daughters Suzi, Johanne, Pamela and Lynn, grandchildren Maya, Amelia, Oscar, Chloe, Lauren, Ethan and Evie, daughter-in-law Lily, sons-in-law Paul and Andrew, Lynn’s partner Leon, brother Jimmy, sisters Margaret, Frances, Patsy, Nuala, Goretti and Angela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan (C15 C425) this Friday from 3pm with a celebration of John’s life at 5pm. Removal at 5:45pm to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Navan for evening prayers at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am (livestream). Burial afterwards in Cannistown Cemetery.
