Harry Waters has been named in the 26-player Ireland U-18 Schools squad, selected by Head Coach Michael Hodge, for the upcoming 2025 U-18 Men’s International Series in South Africa this August. The tournament will be held in the Western Cape and will feature Ireland alongside five other international sides.
Waters’ selection is a well-earned recognition of his impressive rise through the ranks over the past two seasons. Last year, he was named in the Ireland U-18 Boys Club/Youths team, and this season he made his All-Ireland League debut for Navan RFC’s Men’s 1st XV, making an impact midway through the 2024/25 campaign.
At the club’s end-of-season awards, Waters was deservedly named Navan RFC Senior Men’s Young Player of the Year for 2024/25, capping off a remarkable year of progress.
Further underlining his potential, Harry was also named in the 2025 DkIT “Future Stars of Rugby XV”, a team that showcases emerging young rugby talent from the Leinster North-East region.
