Slane actor Matthew O’Brien is at the centre of a high speed drama in this Thursdays episode of Fair City. O’Brien’s character James Rafferty finds his pregnant ex partner Hayley Collins has just started having labour pains and decides to drive her to hospital rather than wait on an ambulance.
This being soap land a simple journey turns into a horror show with the couple involved in a high speed crash which sees their car turn over on its roof before bursting into flames.
The accident puts a damper on Ruth and Doug’s wedding day as guests dash to try and rescue the couple trapped in the blazing vehicle.. O’Brien is a dedicated collector of Star Wars memorabilia ,so is the force with him or does he die ? Tune in to discover his fate.
