Duleek broadcaster Ken Murray has departed LMFM flagship show The Agenda. The former Jacobs award winner Murray was brought in just last February to replace the late Michael Reade in the stations early morning current affairs slot, and has recently authored two highly acclaimed books on major incidents from the Troubles.

Reasons for his departure remain unclear and he told Meath Live, “Let’s just say we have mutually agreed to part company and there is no rancour or ill feeling”.

In a previous stint with LMFM,  Murray was the first ever Jacobs award winner on commercial radio, and also launched the ‘Green Scene’ currently Ireland’s longest running commercial radio show. He has also had stints at both Sky news and EURONEWS tv stations.
