In a rain soaked match against Meath Hill Drumconrath, Dunderry prevailed in the game, winning 1-14 to 1-11. On level terms at 1-8 each at half time, the two teams played some attractive football. In truth Dunderry could have added two more goals when in control midway through the second half but did enough to lift the cup in the Division 4  LMFM Minor Final. Both teams  went all out for the 60 minutes with plenty of additional time played in the rain. In what could only be described as treacherous conditions for players and the large crowd that turned out on the night at Dunganny.

Half time saw the teams level 1-8 each with Dunderry outscored the opposition 6 points to 3. As the rain fell it made for tough to hold and handle the ball in a game that was tight. should have sealed it. In fairness to the Drumconrath/Meath Hill, they ploughed on and put plenty of pressure to the Dunderry backs  and could have easily slipped a goal on a  wet and windy evening.

Dunderry Captain Ciaran O Brien with the LMFM Div.4 Cup, below Ben O’Rourke taking aim, Marc Darcy to his left and to his right Dunderry’s Cormac Conaty keeps possession.
