A case of 57 year-old man with a Meath address accused of sexually assaulting two females was adjourned for the preparation of a book of evidence. The case which was conducted in camera was briefly mentioned on Tuesday at Trim District Court, which heard that the Director of Public Prosecutions consented on a guilty plea to it being dealt with summarily (in the district court). A book of evidence was required.
Court Presenter Sergeant Declan Brady said it would take six weeks to prepare the book. Judge Patricia Cronin remanded the accused on continuing bail to January 13. The accused is charged with the offences on April 21 this year.
