Local Londis retailers, Caolac and Jennifer Monaghan, were delighted to with relaunch their newly refurbished store in Kentstown, Co. Meath, following a substantial investment in the thriving community store. The revamped Monaghan’s Londis Kentstown, relaunched at the beginning of May, bringing forth a number of enhancements aimed at elevating the shopping experience for the local community. Customers have been delighted with the new upgrade to the store and with it’s location in the locality serves as important part of the community with all the everyday needs in a well stocked and popular store.

Improved sustainability measures were at the forefront during the revamp and Londis Kentstown now boasts energy-efficient Next Generation Refrigeration from Anglo Irish Refrigeration, insulated curtains at the entrance to the cold and freezer rooms and all the new LED light fittings, which are considerably more efficient than the previous fluorescent fittings.

In addition, upwards of 95% of the external signage in Londis Kentstown is recyclable. These measures align with Londis Kentstown’s overall dedication to environmental responsibility while delivering a quality service to the community. Furthermore, the revamped store offers an extended range of high-quality products, featuring new additions such as a new Bia Blás Deli, BWG’s exclusive I Scream concept and a new kitchen to extend the store’s overall footprint to 1,550 sq ft.  The refreshed Off-Licence now showcases an extensive selection of wines from around the world, as well as spirits and craft beers that cater to all tastes.

ESSENTIAL PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Londis Kentstown has been embedded within the community for more than two decades and the store actively supports local charities and sports teams, including Seneschalstown Ladies GAA, Kentstown Rovers Soccer Club, in addition to sponsoring – and being a key member of – the award- winning K&S Accordian Band.
