Following a structural survey carried out on Monday afternoon, pedestrian and traffic access to the Tholsel crossroads has been reopened, allowing movement along West Street, Peter Street, and Shop Street. Pedestrian access to the uPhone shop on the corner of Peter Street will also be permitted. Access to St Laurence Street will remain closed until further notice. Public safety remains paramount for Louth County Council, and all decisions are based on engineering advice to ensure the area is safe for reopening.
