County Meath Chamber is pleased to announce the 2026 Apprenticeship Expo, taking place on Thursday, 12th March at the Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, from 9.30am to 4pm. Now in its seventh year, the Expo has established itself as Ireland’s leading Apprentices Showcase, connecting students and jobseekers with employers across the Mid & North East Region.

The event was officially launched with strong support from Meath Chamber, LMETB, Meath County Council, exhibitors, local representatives and special guest MEP Nina Carberry. Together they understand the importance of apprenticeship pathways in strengthening regional skills and driving economic growth. As a Member of the European Parliament, MEP Nina Carberry is well placed to advance the conversation at EU‑level on continued investment in skills and apprenticeship.

Speaking at the launch, Cllr Caroline O’Reilly, Leas Cathaoirleach of Meath County Council, said: “I am delighted to launch the 2026 Apprenticeship Expo which continues to be a vital platform for connecting students, jobseekers and employers across Meath. This March at the Knightsbrook Hotel the Expo will once again bring together industry, education providers and apprenticeship experts under one roof showcasing the incredible career pathways available in our county. My thanks to County Meath Chamber, LMETB and all partners for their continued leadership in driving skills, opportunity and economic growth forward in Meath.”

The long‑standing partnership between County Meath Chamber and LMETB remains central to the Expo’s success. Philip Sheridan, Regional Training Manager at LMETB, highlighted the significance of this collaboration: “Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB) is proud to continue our strong collaboration with Meath Chamber and our industry partners in highlighting the real impact of apprenticeships for employers, learners and the regional economy. The Apprenticeship Expo has grown into a cornerstone event. Together we are developing a talented, flexible workforce equipped to thrive in a changing world.”

The 2026 Apprenticeship Expo will feature more than 80 exhibitors offering live demonstrations and opportunities for direct engagement with employers and apprenticeship coordinators. Visitors can access CV clinics, career guidance, information on training routes, and hands‑on insights into a wide range of industries.
