Yesterday saw an ambitious and determined young man Jordan Adams complete the tenth of 32 marathons in each county of Ireland in Meath.

A large crowd had gathered to welcome him home as he finished on Trimgate Street in Navan. Marathon number ten in the bag , he was very relaxed, giving interviews and spending time with the crowd for photo opportunities. Today he told us at Meath Live, he was off to Cavan for the 11th one.

Jordan Adams along with his brother Cian are raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer Society. Their mum who succumbed to frontotemporal dementia (FTD),  she was 52, The brothers carry the gene too and instead of lying down have literally got on their feet and ran to raise funds for dementia.

Some of the crowd with Adams on Trimgate St with Mairead Byrnes from Chislers pictured above with Jordan.

The positive vibes from a man who had just ran over 26 miles was incredible and he appeared delighted with the public support afforded by many new found friends in Ireland.

They describe themselves ” As two normal lads from a small town in the West Midlands to leave something for our family.” The Redditch boys are much more than that.
