The Meath Local Community Safety Partnership (LCSP) will hold its first Annual Public Meeting on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at the Solstice Arts Centre, Navan, from 7pm to 8pm. The meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the public to learn more about the work of the Partnership, hear about progress made to date, and engage directly with representatives on matters relating to community safety across Meath.
The Meath LCSP brings together representatives from local government, An Garda SÃochána, community and voluntary organisations, public services and local communities to identify and address community safety priorities throughout the county. Members of the public are invited to attend and participate. The Partnership is also encouraging individuals, community groups and organisations to submit questions in advance of the meeting. Where possible, questions received before the closing date will be addressed by members of the Partnership during the event. If you have questions they should be submitted no later than Tuesday, 15 September 2026 email to: communitysafety@meathcoco.ie.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, the Meath Local Community Safety Partnership Chairperson Ciarán Flynn, pictured above, said: “Community safety is built through partnership, collaboration and engagement with local people. This Annual Public Meeting provides an important opportunity for residents to learn more about the work of the Partnership, share their views and help shape priorities for safer, stronger and more connected communities across Meath.”
