ALONE provides many services to Older People in your area to enable them to stay living at home for longer.
If you have time on your hands and want to provide an important community service you may be interested in getting involved.
Here is what Alone is trying to do in Meath and throughout the country.
We recruit, train and support Volunteers for two services:1 – Visitation and Befriending Service, which is where a volunteer gives an hour a week of their time to provide companionship to an Older Person.2 – Telephone Support and Befriending Service, which is where a volunteer makes friendly calls to Older People once a week for a 2 hour shift.
We currently have older people in your surrounding area looking for both of these services. I was wondering if you would be able to share the following few sentences below on your social media to see if anyone would be interested? I have attached a photo to use also.
