A Navan mother and son who appeared at Trim District Court in possession of drugs charges have been sent for trial. Kathleen Wilde, aged 60 and her son Matthew aged 19 of Tailteann Drive, Navan were charged with possession of drugs at their address on 29th April last year. The seven charges against each accused included possession of cocaine, cannabis an zopiclone and having possession of cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime. Garda Alan Shine gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who were then sent forward for trial by Judge Eirinn McKiernan at Trim Circuit Court on 18th June next. Each accused was granted free legal aid in the form of a solicitor and one barrister.
