A 61-year-old man who appeared at Trim District Court on an alleged dangerous driving charge following a road incident last year has been sent for trial. Carl Sheriff of Bailieboro, Kingscourt was charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Brendan Brennan (80) at Ballynaclose, Kilmainhamwood in October last.
Sergeant Ratcliffe gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused. Judge Eirinn McKiernan sent the accused forward for trial at Trim Circuit Court on 24th of June next and remanded him on bail to that date.
