A warrant for the arrest of a 21-year-old Dublin man was issued by Judge Miriam Walsh at Trim District Court when he failed to appear in court to answer a charge in relation to an alleged Oldcastle incident. Brandon Moore, Wellington, Laraghcon, Clonee Road, Dublin was charged with unlawful possession of drugs at Railway yard, Oldcastle on 23rd February last year.

Garda Martin Reilly told the court that he had seen the accused and another man in the Loughcrew Estate at 8.19pm. They ran off. He caught up with accused at the Railway yard and found that there was a live warrant for him in existence. The accused admitted having two joints of cannabis on him. When the accused was called he failed to respond and the judge issued the arrest warrant.

Other cases: Garry Wright (37), Maudlin Court, Kells admitted possession of drugs at Maudlin Street, Kells on 16 th November 2023. Court Presenter Sergeant Peter Clarke said that while defendant had a previous conviction for manslaughter he had none for drugs. Judge Walsh directed him to pay a donation of €400 to St Vincent de Paul.

Toma Zemliauskaite (24), Brookville, Ashbourne was fined €200 for driving without insurance on 2nd February last.

Arrest warrants were issued for the following who failed to appear to answer summonses – Dmitrii Sinitchii (22), Beechlawn, Johnstown, Navan (alleged no insurance and drunken driving at Pace, Dunboyne on 21 st September 2024); Eileen Reilly, Tailteann Crescent, Windtown, Navan (criminal damage at Tailteann Crescent 1 st February 2024); Stephanie Deegan (36), Swans Nest Avenue, Kilbarrack, Raheny (theft at Tierneys Shop, Trimgate Street, Navan on 25 th May last year).
