As we move into the weekend, the sun is shining and we are enjoying a fine spell of weather with temperatures well into the mid twenties this weekend. Be prepared and enjoy the good spell.
Ensure you and the family are properly protected from the sun and hydrate with plenty of water, in preference to sugar based minerals. All the shelves in the ice cream sections are selling fast. The vendors are doing a thriving trade in ice creams and minerals, the BBQ are evident everywhere and it is a time to relax. Maybe not, there will be a a tide of green and gold from both Meath, Donegal and Kerry with the red and white of Tyrone on the roads over today and tomorrow. Again go prepared and allow extra time to get there and if possible avail of bus services to get to the games.
Up in Dundalk the main event will see the famous Ladies Day at Dundalk Stadium, featuring top class racing with an eight card programme. The packed crowd will see the very latest in fashion with plenty of live entertainment over the afternoon. In the evening there will also be 12 card programme, plenty to enjoy. First race off at 1.20 pm
