Uisce Éireann is commencing the construction of new wastewater infrastructure in Clonmagadden, Co Meath with works getting underway next week. The works involve the installation of 300 metres of gravity sewer main to support social and economic development in the wider Navan area. This project is being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme.

Works will take place at Clonmagadden Park, and on Clonmagadden Road, between Clonmagadden Park and Nangle Court. To safely and efficiently deliver this project, traffic management in the form of traffic marshals and temporary traffic lights will be in place.

Uisce Éireann’s Padraic Fitzgerald said. “This project will facilitate social and economic growth, including planned residential development. It will increase the capacity of the existing wastewater network to deliver reliable, sustainable high-quality wastewater services for the community,” he said. The works will be carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Group and are expected to be completed in Autumn 2025.
