A 31-year-old man with a Co Louth address has been sent for trial on charges of attempted robbery at a location in Navan. Jason Daly, with an address at Wadman park, Blackrock, Co Louth was charged with attempted robbery on two men at Old Cornmarket, Navan on 7th April 2022.
He was also charged with damage to the wing mirror of a vehicle. Detective Garda Conor McCluskey gave evidence at Trim District Court of having served a book of evidence on the accused. Judge Eirinn McKiernan sent the accused forward for trial to Trim Circuit Court on 21st October next and remnded him on continuing bail until the date of his trial.
