Report Paul Murphy

A Meath Live straw poll taken among Fianna Fail councillors on Meath County Council shows that the majority are so far undecided about who they would like to see as the party’s candidate in the forthcoming Presidential election. Six of the 10 councillors have yet to make up their minds but there are one or two surprises in the opinions of the remaining four councillors.

In the phone poll on Sunday here’s how it went;

Mike Bray – Undecided at present
Padraig Coffey – undecided
Sean Drew – Waiting to see the nominations
Padraig Fitzsimons – So far, Heather Humphreys
Wayne Harding – Hasn’t formed an opinion yet
Stephen McKee – Micheal Martin
Caroline O’Reilly – Waiting until all declarations are declared
Paul O’Rourke – Still has to decide
Conor Tormey – Bertie Ahern
