Navan set for big clean-up on 13th September. The newly-revived Navan Tidy Towns Committee is planning a big clean-up day as one of the first actions since it formed. The big day is 13th September and the committee is looking for volunteers to gather at the Kells Road car park opposite Navan Fire Station at the N51 and R147 junction. There is a starting time of 11am and the effort will continue until 1pm. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags and litter pickers.
The TT committee wants to improve Navan’s standing in the National Tidy Towns Competition and the Irish Business Against Litter league. The chairperson of the organisation is Josh Carrell and he and Navan Municipal District Cathaoirleach Padraig Fitzsimons has asked everyone to pitch in on the day.
