It was a case of third time lucky for Sinn Fein Cllr Fionnan Blake when he put in a county council question about street lights on the L5013, Bog Road, Dunshaughlin. The councillor had been trying for some time to get action on the problem. He was told that Meath County Council and ESB Networks had scheduled in electrical connection works for these public lights “to be completed by the end of September”. But lo, Cllr Blake now finds that the lights were switched on last week after a full year’s delay – the third time he had lodged his query.
