A Garda investigation is underway following the discovery of a woman’s body in Co Meath. The woman was found unresponsive at a house in Kilmessan at 5pm yesterday (Tuesday). The woman was pronounced deceased and Gardai have preserved the scene while a technical examination is carried out. The Co Meath coroner Nathaniel Lacy has been informed and the Office of the State Pathologist has also been notified. No further details are available until a post mortem has been carried out.
