A child injured following a road accident has been awarded €11,000 damages in a civil claim at Navan District Court. Marta Putynkowska , Reask Crescent, Commons Road, Navan took the case through an adult against Generosa Brito, c/o Axa Insurance. The child was represented by Rostra solicitors and barrister Mariana Verdes was in court for the legal firm.
The court was told that a collision occurred between vehicles on the L1161 Colpe Road on 14 th September 2024. The child had suffered a fracture. Ms Verdes said the child’s family was happy to accept the award of damages. Judge Eirinn McKiernan granted a decree for €11,000 along with legal costs of €1,500.
