On behalf of all the team at Meath Live a big Thank You for all your support over the last year. We have thousands of readers coming the our news site throughout the year. We hope that you find the news and articles of interest and keep you abreast of events as they happen. Some stories generate debate and conversation, we endeavour to be balanced and to give you the reader what is topical on day to day issues.

Christmas is a time for family and friends to celebrate our faith, today our community has changed, it is up to us as a society to embrace the challenges we all face and accept we give of our best. At Meath Live we recognise the times are still tough for many but hopefully we can still all be one and enjoy the Festive season , reflect and move forward to do the best in a democratic country.

Noel Coogan was an accomplished and well respected Sports journalist. He worked right up to his passing this year. He was the Sports Editor with The Weekender Newspaper from 1984 to 2010. He also joined Meath Live in 2019 and did freelanced for national and local titles.

Kim Mullahey joined Meath Live in 2023, a photo-journalist she was well known in Polo circles, a restaurant writer, and local journalist based in Leixlip formerly living in Kilcloon, county Meath.

At this time too we reflect on all those who are no longer with us, our family and friends, in your own family circle. At Meath Live, we lost two well known journalists this year and we think of them this Christmas, Noel Coogan and Kim Mullahey, please remember them in your prayers.

Finally, Meath Live, pay a special thanks to all our sponsors and advertisers and wish everyone a Very Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
