The Campaign to Pass the Occupied Territories Bill, in partnership with Meath Palestine Solidarity Campaign (Meath PSC), will host a public meeting in Kells, County Meath on Wednesday 25 February 2026 at 7.30pm in the Kenlis Suite, Headfort Arms Hotel.
The Occupied Territories Bill (OTB) is a crucial piece of legislation that would prohibit the importation into Ireland of goods and services from settlements illegally established on occupied territory. This is a practical, lawful step Ireland can take to uphold international law and ensure our economic activity does not sustain injustice.
The campaign is a collective of over 40 organisations, trade unions and NGOs calling for the enactment of the OTB. The meeting will set out the purpose and effect of the Occupied Territories Bill, the reasons its enactment is now urgent, and the practical steps that the Campaign to Pass the Occupied Territories Bill is calling for to advance the legislation.
Gary Keating, of the Bohemian Football Club Solidarity Team, will welcome the speakers, which include: Senator Frances Black, Conor O’Neill – Head of Advocacy and Policy, Christian Aid, and Talha AlAli – Palestinian human rights activist, psychotherapist and founder of ‘Decolonised Minds’.
