A 38-year-old man with a Navan address has been sent for forward for trial on charges of attempted robbery and possession of a knife. Darragh Keogh, with an address at Oakleigh, Old Balreask Woods in the town was alleged to have committed the offences at Applegreen, Mullaghboy, Navan on 17 th January last year. A Garda gave evidence that the accused was served with a book of evidence. An application was made for his return to Trim Circuit Court for trial or to be sent forward for sentence on a signed plea of guilty. At Trim District Court Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the accused with consent to bail to appear for trial at the circuit court and assigned legal representation to him.
