A newly-appointed judge was welcomed to Trim District Court where she sat alongside Judge Eirinn McKiernan as an observer. Judge Paula Cullinane was a Dublin-based solicitor and she was officially nominated by the Government to serve as a judge of the district court. She is among eight new members of the judiciary selected to fill ongoing judicial vacancies across the country.

She was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2005 and brings over two decades of legal experience to the bench. She most recently served as a partner at the Dublin-based firm O’Donnell Murray LLP. Her legal practice predominantly focused on litigation, specifically family law, medical negligence, personal injuries and employment law. She is a graduate of University College Cork (UCC). She holds a BLC degree along with diplomas in family law and judicial skills from the Law Society of Ireland.
