The 2026 Audi quattro Cup season came to a thrilling conclusion on Tuesday 8 September, with the Audi quattro Cup National Final taking place at the prestigious Druids Glen Golf Resort in Co. Wicklow. Following a summer of regional competitions held at leading golf clubs across Ireland, the highest-performing Audi quattro Cup teams came together at Druids Glen to compete for the coveted national title.
Navan based businessman, Donal Geraghty and his son Cormac Geraghty, who qualified through the Audi Naas Regional, were crowned the 2026 Audi quattro Cup National Final champions after recording an impressive score of 44 points.
The winning pairing finished two points clear of Matt Donohue and Pat Healy, who secured second place with 42 points, winning the position on a back-nine countback with 20 points. Donohue and Healy qualified for the National Final through the Audi Galway, Sligo & Ballina Regional.
Third place went to Trevor Moloney and Johnny Nevin, who also finished on 42 points, with 18 points on the back nine. The pair qualified through the Audi Limerick Regional.

The National Final also saw players compete for a number of individual accolades, with Elizabeth O’Sullivan, who qualified through the Audi Athlone Regional, taking the Ladies’ Longest Drive on the 15th hole. Joe Gordon, also a qualifier from the Audi Naas Regional, claimed the Gents’ Longest Drive on the 18th hole, while Marjorie Ahern, who qualified through the Audi Cork Regional, secured Nearest the Pin on the 12th hole.
The National Final marked the culmination of the 2026 Audi quattro Cup season, bringing together Audi customers and their chosen teammates from across the country following a series of regional competitions.
The Audi quattro Cup is a team-based competition, with each team consisting of two players and is open to Audi customers and their chosen teammate. The maximum handicap is 36 (index) per player and 56 (index) per team, with the handicap difference
between players in a team not exceeding 20.
The celebrations continued into the evening, with guests joined by Audi Ireland Brand Ambassador Rob Kearney, alongside Aidan O’Shea and Olivia Mehaffey. The sporting personalities joined Audi customers and finalists to mark the conclusion of the 2026 Quattro Cup season and celebrate the achievements of the day’s competitors.
