Navan RFC PRO Craig Williamson has informed us at Meath Live that two of their women’s players have been selected for international duty.
The Irish Women’s Under 18 Squad was announced today for the Women’s Six Nations festival to be held in North Wales this Easter and Navan RFC players Alex Connor & Emma Brogan among the players named.

For Brogan this is her second time named on this squad after being involved last year’s U18’s Women’s Six Nations Festival which took place in England while this is a debut for Alex Connor.
Both players were starters for the Leinster U18 Women’s side who were runner-up in the recent Interprovincial Championships with Connor captaining the side in the Semi-Finals & Final.
Both players are also accomplished Gaelic Footballers for Simonstown GFC & Loreto St Michael’s Navan for whom they were part of last year’s All-Ireland Winning LGFA Post-Primary Schools Senior A Championship, the final of which Brogan was named “Player of the Match”.
