A 27-year-old man with a Kells address who appeared before Trim District Court on Tuesday this week charged with possession of child abuse images has been sent for trial.
The man who cannot be named for legal reasons was alleged to have the images on separate dates in February 2021 and March 202. He was also charged with the alleged distribution of child abuse images in February of 2021. A Garda gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who was then sent forward for trial to Trim Circuit Court March sitting by Judge Eirinn McKiernan
