Maynooth University will host its Undergraduate Open Day on Saturday, 28 June 2025, from 10am to 2pm, welcoming CAO applicants, prospective students, parents, supporters, and guidance counsellors to explore all that the University has to offer. The event provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain insight into undergraduate courses, student life, and the vibrant campus community. Visitors will have the chance to meet academic staff and students at course stands, attend scheduled talks, and learn about the wide range of student supports available at MU.
According to Ita McGuigan, Assistant Registrar & Director of Admissions at Maynooth University: “One of the best ways to experience life at Maynooth University is by attending the Open Day. It offers a real insight into what it’s like to study at MU — from engaging with lecturers and students to exploring the campus and support services.”
Throughout the day, attendees can:
– Engage with academic staff and current students at course stands
– Attend over 50 talks on academic courses and student life
– Learn about accommodation, scholarships, and student supports
– Take guided tours of the university’s modern facilities and historic campus
In addition to academic offerings, the Open Day will highlight the full student experience at Maynooth University, including clubs and societies, campus amenities, and the welcoming atmosphere that defines the university community.
Whether students are finalising their CAO choices before the closing date of 5pm on 1st July, or beginning to explore their options, the Maynooth University Undergraduate Open Day offers a comprehensive and inspiring introduction to university life.
