A 45-year-old man with a Navan address who appeared at Trim District Court charged with possession of child abuse images has been sent for trial. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with three counts of possession of a total of 93 images and 13 videos at his address on a date in 2022 in contravention of the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act 1998. Garda McKeown gave evidence of having served a book of evidence on the accused who was then sent forward by Judge Eirinn McKiernan for trial at Trim Circuit Court later this month.
