Usher Auctions have cancelled an auction at Sommerville House which was due to take place this week at the property located at Kentstown this coming Monday, 1st December. Viewing of the articles on auction from today and over the weekend from noon to five pm and also on the Monday has now been cancelled.
The auction house issued the following message. ”Due to unforeseen circumstances totally beyond our control, regrettably we must cancel the Somerville House auction. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Please note that there will be no viewing taking place at Somerville House this weekend.”
A well known period building, the auction would have attracted huge interest across a wide spectrum of buyers internationally, nationally, and locally. For now the auction if off. Usher Auctions Limited, T/A Usher Auctions is based at John Street Kells, Co. Meath. The business has built a large clientele over the years when started by the late Oliver Usher in 2023.
