Now is The Hour delivered a fine treble for trainer Gavin Cromwell winning the Goff’s Thyestes Chase today at Gowran Park when getting up on the line by head win from Better Times Ahead. Eoin Staples with the 5lb claim had enough to take the honours with some luck with WP Mullins Spanish Harlem looking the lightly winner but Sean Cleary-Farrell unseated. The old adage you got to jump to win certainly held true. first race
The other winners on the day were Champagne Jury (evens fav.) in the first race ridden by Keith Donoghue and then The Lovely Man (11/2) again ridden Staple for his double on the day. The Skyrne based trainer horses are finding good form into new year.
